Tree of Love

 

Sampson Regional's Tree of Love is illuminated throughout the holiday season; each light representative of a tribute gift made in honor or memory of someone special. This treasured tradition features a beautiful light display of 25 Tribute Trees alongside the large Tree of Love on the hospital front lawn. This lighted display is a special way to honor and remember loved ones.

Our annual tree lighting celebration features complimentary family-friendly activities on the 1st Sunday in December.  All are invited to participate as we celebrate the special holiday season. 

TRIBUTE TREES
  • $1750- Full cluster of 3 trees
  • $500- Single 5ft tree
  • $375- Single 4ft tree
  • $250- Single 3ft tree
 
Tribute Trees are a beautiful way to honor and remember loved ones. Each sponsored tree will have a tribute marker beside it and is noted on our lighting display map. The lighting map is published on the Tree of Love webpage and provided to the tribute sponsor.  

Due to limited quantities, contact us to ensure availability before becoming a Tribute Tree Sponsor. The Foundation office may be reached at 910-596-4269 or by email. Please note that lighted displays are symbolically sponsored and not purchased to own. 

Tribute gifts to the Tree of Love can be made anytime throughout the year in honor or in memory of loved ones, colleagues, church members, friends, and family. We'll send a keepsake card to the recipient of your choice, acknowledging your tribute gift in their name.

Proceeds from this year's Tree of Love will help fund a new ultrasound machine for our hospital's OR - providing real-time imaging during procedures and helping our patients experience the best outcomes possible.

Your generous contributions will make a difference to our patients and their families by making their hospital stay more comfortable.

Gifts received in excess of project needs will be thoughtfully and responsibly allocated by the Foundation Board to other priority projects within the hospital that help advance healthcare in our community.

The Tree of Love is a treasured Sampson County tradition. This year, Sampson Regional looks forward to continuing its new holiday light display and family-friendly event.

We invite you to join this complimentary event filled with family fun on the hospital front lawn to celebrate the beginning of this special season.

Each light is representative of a tribute gift made in honor or memory of someone special. All funds raised will support the purchase for our hospital's OR - providing real-time imaging during procedures and helping our patients experience the best outcomes possible.

The Tree of Love is an annual project of the SampsonRMC Foundation that was started more than 30 years ago by the Sampson County Medical Society Alliance. The hospital foundation took ownership of the Tree of Love in 2006. Since that time, more than $200,000 has been raised to support various hospital projects, including medical equipment and renovations.

The Tree of Love is illuminated on the first Sunday in December, and the lights continue burning each night throughout the holiday season. Each light on the Tree of Love is representative of a tribute gift made in honor or memory of someone special. Collectively, these gifts represent caring and remembrance during the holiday season.

We offer gratitude to our generous donors and give tribute to those honored and memorialized through the Tree of Love.
