Sampson Regional Medical Center (SampsonRMC) is proud to announce that Brianna Wilson, a senior at Midway High School, has been awarded the SampsonRMC Nursing Scholarship. This competitive scholarship supports students entering the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program at Sampson Community College and reflects the hospital’s ongoing commitment to investing in the future of healthcare in Sampson County.
The scholarship covers tuition, books, uniform kits, review courses, and college background checks. It is disbursed each semester, with recipients required to remain enrolled and maintain a “B” average throughout the program. Upon completion of the ADN program and licensure, recipients commit to a two-year employment period with SampsonRMC.
“I’ve always known I wanted to help people, and nursing gives me the chance to do just that. I’m so grateful for this scholarship and the support from SampsonRMC. I plan to complete my RN at Sampson Community College and eventually earn my BSN,” stated Brianna Wilson, Midway High School senior. Her goal is to be a strong advocate for her patients and to make a real difference in their lives.
The SampsonRMC nursing scholarship is part of the hospital’s broader mission to strengthen the future of rural healthcare by building a strong, sustainable workforce from within the local community.
