Clinton, NC, May 2026: During Nurses Week 2026, Sampson Regional Medical Center is celebrating the dedication and compassion of nurses while also giving back to the community through a donation drive supporting the upcoming Sampson County Community Baby Shower.
Donations are currently being collected for the Community Baby Shower hosted by Grace Helping Others. The Community Baby Shower is scheduled for July 11th at Twisted Vines Vineyard in Clinton. The initiative will help provide essential baby items, education, and resources to expecting and new families throughout Sampson County.
Requested donation items include:
- Diapers
- Wipes
- Baby shampoo and lotion
- Bottles and pacifiers
- Baby blankets
- Infant clothing
- Other baby essentials
“As nurses, caring for families extends far beyond the walls of the hospital,” said Shannon Capps, Director of Obstetrics & Infusion Center. “This is a meaningful way to celebrate Nurses Week while supporting mothers, babies, and families in our community.”
Donations may be dropped off at Sampson Regional Medical Center’s main lobby through June 30 during normal business hours. The donation drive reflects SampsonRMC’s continued commitment to its mission of Growing a Healthier Community through compassion, outreach, and support for local families.
