Rachel Palmer, D.O., hails from McArthur, Ohio. She attended Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio for her B.S. in Biological Sciences and for graduate coursework in Human Anatomy. She attended medical school at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia.
Dr. Palmer is a Captain in the United States Air Force Reserve Medical Corps and thrilled to be a Traditional Rotating Intern at Sampson Regional Medical Center this year. She is pursuing a residency in General Surgery.
During her spare time, Dr. Palmer enjoys running, baking, ice skating, Middle Eastern dance, sailing, traveling, visiting art museums and learning new languages. She is a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and often looks for ways to volunteer and assist in under-served populations.
