Self Assessment Tools & Health Info

What's your risk of having a heart attack in the next ten years?

The Framingham Heart Study provides a tool that estimates your 10-year risk of developing Hard CHD (myocardial infarction and coronary death).  The tool is designed to provide estimates for adults age 20+ who do not already have heart disease or diabetes.
This tool should not replace a doctor's evaluation, and if you have concerns or questions abour your risk factors, such as high blood pressure or high cholesterol, talk with your doctor.
Take the assessment here.

Calculate your Body Mass Index

Body Mass Index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight and applies to adult men and women.  The tool is a useful measure of overweigh and obesity.  The higher your BMI, the higher your risk for developing certain diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and certain cancers.
