Dr. Iliet Payan is a Family Medicine physician with obstetrics (FM-OB) who provides comprehensive care for women and families across all stages of life. Born in Guantánamo, Cuba, and raised in Miami, Florida, she brings a diverse perspective and a strong commitment to expanding access to care.

She offers a full range of services, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care; gynecologic care; well-woman exams; family planning; menopause management; and fertility support. She is also trained in high-risk pregnancy and performs procedures such as colposcopies and LEEPs.

Dr. Payan discovered her passion for obstetrics during medical school after delivering her first baby and values the opportunity to care for both mothers and their families over time. She is especially dedicated to serving rural communities, focusing on reducing barriers and providing compassionate, equitable care.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Payan strives to ensure every patient feels heard, respected, and valued. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her husband, three children, and their dog, Blaze.
