Rest Assured Sleep Lab
Better Sleep. Better Rest. Better Life. Sleep disorders can account for so many health issues, including anxiety, stress, cognitive impairment, high blood pressure, obesity, and even stroke. Quality sleep is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. That’s why SRMC opened Rest Assured Sleep Lab, in partnership with Eastern ENT Sinus & Allergy Center. Rest Assured conducts sleep studies in its two-bed sleep lab on the third floor of the main hospital.
Of the 20 million Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) sufferers in the U.S., only 10-20% of people with sleep apnea are diagnosed, and of those, the compliance rate with treatment is only 50-60%. Education is key in helping those with OSA better treat and manage their condition. Rest Assured Sleep Lab is helping the cause by offering a new Sleep Apnea Support Group.
