Physical Therapists

Anthony Boney, PT

Anthony graduated with a BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma in 1996, giving him 15 years of experience working as a physical therapist. Anthony specializes in spinal rehabilitation (neck/back pain) and chronic pain.

Pat Bullard, PT, MPT, MDT

Pat graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan College with a BS in Exercise and Sports Science in 2001 and then proceeded to earn his Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. Pat is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the Spine (McKenzie certified.) Pat's interests include: orthopedics, back/neck pain, spinal rehabilitation.

Hallie Coleman, PT, DPT

Hallie graduated with a BS in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007 and then proceeded to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010. Hallie's interest areas include: Sports related injuries, orthopedics, neurological disorders, geriatrics, and vestibular rehabilitation.

Bonnie Fakhri, MPT

Bonnie graduated with a BS in Applied Exercise Science from Methodist University in 2004 and then proceeded to earn her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006. Bonnie is currently enrolled in the transitional Doctorate of Physical Therapy program from Thomas Jefferson University and is expected to graduate in 2011. Bonnie has been working in the skilled nursing unit and acute care at SRMC since 2006.

Niki Faircloth, PT, DPT, ATC, CWS, CLT

Niki graduated with a BS in Athletic Training from Averett University in 2002 and then proceeded to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Elon University in 2005. Niki is certified in both lymphadema management as well as is a certified wound care specialist. Niki's interest areas include: wound care, lymphadema management, neurological disorders, orthopedics.

Dusty Glover, MPT

Dusty graduated with a BS in Biology from Campbell University in 2004. She then took a one year hiatus from physical therapy to become an adjunct professor in anatomy at Campbell University from 2004 – 2005. Dusty returned to school and graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007. Dusty's interest areas include: sports related injuries, pediatrics, neurological disorders, orthopedics, wound care, vestibular rehabilitation, spinal rehabilitation, chronic pain, and aquatic therapy.

Susan Jackson, PT, DPT, ATC

Susan graduated with a BS in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2007. Susan then proceeded to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from East Carolina University in 2010. Susan's interest areas include: orthopedics , sports related injuries, and biomechanics.

Nancy Thagard, PT

Nancy is currently the Rehabilitation Director of both inpatient and outpatient therapy. Nancy graduated with her BS in Physical Therapy from West Virginia University in 1976, giving her 30 + years of experience working in physical therapy. Nancy has and continues to work as a physical therapist in the inpatient, outpatient, and in the skilled nursing settings.

Phillip Warren, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC, MDT

Phillip earned his undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Education at Barton College in 1971. Phillip then received his Masters in Physical Therapy degree from Baylor University in 1975, his Masters in Public Health from UNC- Chapel Hill in 1989, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in 2001. Phillip has his OCS (orthopedic clinic specialist) certification, MTC (manual therapy certification), and his MDT (mechanical diagnosis and therapy certification) from the Mackenzie institute. Phillip is currently a part-time staff member as he is also a full-time instructor at FTCC in the physical therapy assistant program. Phillip teaches: functional anatomy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, measurement and data collection, and rehabilitation. Phillip is an active member in the APTA, NCAPTA, and AOMPT. Phillip's interest areas in include: cervical spine and back pain.

Pamela Barbee, PTA

Pam graduated from the first Physical Therapist Assistant program at Fayetteville Technical Community College in 1977, giving her 30 plus years of experience as being a Physical Therapist Assistant. Pam has been a program manager at a nursing home and been involved in school system, hospital, nursing home and outpatient settings. Pam's interest areas include: neurological disorders, spinal rehabilitation, chronic pain, and orthopedics.

Courtney Barefoot, PTA

Courtney graduated with her AS in Applied Science from FTCC and then graduated with her Physical Therapy Assistant degree from FTCC in 2006. Courtney has been working in the skilled nursing unit and acute care at SRMC since 2006.

Barbara Grady, PTA

Cassidy Hales, PTA

Cassidy graduated with a BS in Exercise and Sports Science from Appalachian State University in 1998 and then proceeded to earn her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 2000. Cassidy's interest areas include: pediatrics, neurological disorders, and aquatic therapy.

Lennie Harrington, PT Technician

Lennie has been working at SRMC since 1974 as a PT Technician. Lennie specializes in skilled nursing and acute care.

Kim Herring, PTA

Kim graduated with a BS in Recreational Therapy from East Carolina University in 1989 and then proceeded to earn her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 1993. Kim's specialty area is wound care, as she worked previously for 4.5 years at Goldsboro Physical Therapy as a wound specialist and is also on the hospital pressure wound team. Kim's other interests include orthopedics and sports related injuries.

Nicole Lee, PTA

Nicole graduated with her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Nash Community College in 2008. Nicole was previously a student at the facility and received training here before becoming a licensed PTA in 2008. Nicole's interest areas include: pediatrics and orthopedics.

Freddie Sessoms, PTA

Freddie graduated with his Assistants in Applied Science from FTCC and then received his Physical Therapy Assistants degree from FTCC in 2006. Freddie has been working in the skilled nursing unit and acute care at SRMC since 2006.

Occupational Therapists

Sue Shoopman, OT

Sue graduated from Texas Tech University in 1971 with a BS degree; she then received her Masters in Occpuational Therapy from Texas Women's College in 1987. Sue specializes in hand therapy and neurological diagnoses. Sue has worked in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, work hardening programs, pediatrics, and home health before joining outpatient rehabilitation.

Erin Brinson, OT

Erin graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with her BS degree in 2002; she then received her Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005. Erin specializes in pediatrics with a concentration in autism related diagnoses.

Sharon graduated with her Occupational Therapist Assistant license from Cape Fear Community College in 2007. Sharon additionally has an associates degrees in Art and and associates degree in business administration. Sharon currently works in inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, and on the skilled nursing unit.

Connie is originally from Sampson County and attended classes at Sampson Community College. Connie has been working for the hospital for 22 years and is currently the Rehabilitation Office Manager. Connie has 3 children and has been married for 24 years.

Essie attended Sampson Community College graduating in 2007 with an associates in Office Systems Technolgy and in 2010 with an additional associates in Medical Office Administration. Essie's hobbies include watching her son play sports and loving her grandchildren.
