Our diabetes education and support group offers patients with diabetes and their families an outlet to meet and discuss how to better cope with diabetes.

The Diabetes Bus Initiative - Diabetes Self-Management Classes
Learn to live well with diabetes!  Through a partnership with The Diabetes Bus Initiative, Sampson Regional Medical Center offers no-cost diabetes self-management classes to residents in Sampson County.  The three-class series is taught by Certified Diabetes Educators.  Classes are held locally at The Center for Health + Wellness.  To learn more about The Diabetes Bus Initiative and to find out how your physician can refer you, click here or call Missy Hollander, Program Manager, toll free at 877-781-6664. 
 
Sugar Buddies Diabetes Support Group
Meets on the 1st Tuesday of every month (September-April) at SRMC in the Wellness Center at 6:30 p.m. For more information please call 910-590-8744.
 
Free Diabetes Foot Screening
Held on the 4th Thursday of every month from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Call 910-590-8736 to register.
 
Controlling Diabetes
Classes are held monthly at The Center for Health + Wellness.
